"This picture of the famous Boos Band of Jackson was entered in the Citizen Patriot's Old Picture series by "Barney" Barnard, Clark Lake musician. His father, Roland Barnard appears in this picture, which was taken July 4, 1920 when the band played for the city celebration. A few days later, Mr. Barnard was killed in a street car accident. Those in the picture are: Front row (left to right) Charles Hunt, William Freer, Cal Reeves, Louis Boos, Ed Boos, Frank Russell and Bruce Keywood; second row-Arthur Rochefort, T. A. Silsbee, Clyde Clark, Frank Hoffman, M.
