Original picture was taken in 1899 and was printed in the Jackson Citizen Patriot October 16, 1949. The school was taught by George Cain. The students are from Jackson and the surrounding areas. The students and teacher are believed to be the following.

Front Row consists of Bessie Davies Landon, Beth Choate Rooney, Mary Choate Luce (Floyd's sister), Laura Pitts, Glendola Youngs Lester, Marie Hill Schadd, Beula Craven, Gertrude C Bunce, Mercie Choate Hasbrouck, and Ralph Daniels.


Second Row consists of Charles (zip) Coon, Lona Davis Howard, Andrew Craven, Floyd Choate (circled) Frank Pitts, Claire Gillett, Howard Craven, and Ray Choate.

Third Row consists of Clyde Tuttle, Norman Tuttle, Lynn Choate, Genevieve Choate, Spaulding, William Choate, Letha O'Dell Landon, Myrna Whiting Wigent, and Donald Choate.
